Please read and follow the instructions carefully before installing and using your Smoke Butler™ outdoor cigarette disposal unit.

Your Smoke Butler comes completely assembled and ready for use. 

Step 1: Be sure that you have all the necessary items 

Your kit should include the following:

Galvanized steel cable. Instruction pamphlet


Step 2: To open the unit, turn the lid counter-clockwise until it stops. Lift up while holding the base firmly with your feet. The lid fits tightly to seal the unit. This helps restrict the flow of oxygen to better extinguish the cigarettes.

Step 3: Remove any and all shipping items, instructions parts and any small debris that may have entered the unit during shipping or manufacturing.

Step 4: Replace the lid on the unit by aligning the knobs on each side, push down and turn the lid clockwise until it stops. Be sure to turn as far as it will go so that the knob passes the lock hole. This will allow you to lock the base to the unit and the unit to a fixed object preventing theft and vandalism.

Step 5: Place the unit in your desired location. Be sure that the cigarette logo is facing outward so that your customers will see it as they approach your building. The bright red logo was designed to attract smokers and make them aware they have a place to extinguish their cigarettes.

Step 6: For added security you may choose to tether the cab1e to a fixed object. For example a metal post or a tree. To do this you will need to purchase a standard 1/4" pad- lock from your local hardware store and an eyebolt.

Step 7: Loop the cable through the eyebolt or around the fixed object and through the other end of the cable. Place your lock in the side hole on the back of the back of the unit and secure the lock to the end of the cable and close. Your unit should now be secure and safe from theft or vandalism.
